How far away from town is Evergreen?

The resort is 6 miles from the center of Boulder Junction where there is a small grocery store, shops and restaurants. The town of Minocqua, located 25 minutes to the south has larger grocery stores and additional shops and restaurants. Manitowish Waters is 25 minutes northwest of Boulder Junction and also has some dining and shopping opportunities.

What is breakfast like at Evergreen?

Our guests are served a hot, homemade breakfast daily (around 8 am) in the lodge. A different entree is prepared each day of the week, such as French Toast or Cheese Omelets. Continental breakfast items such as cereals, English muffins and toast are always available, along with gluten free items. Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions and we’ll make our best effort to accommodate you.

What should we bring?

Although the cabins are equipped with basic items such as linens and kitchen items for food preparation, we may not have some of the amenities we grow accustomed to having while vacationing at hotels. To best enjoy your Northwoods visit you may want to bring:

• Fishing gear (don’t forget to get a WI fishing license)

• Beach towels, toys and floats (we have canoes and kayaks)

• Personal Flotation Devices for small children (we have plenty for adults)

• Mosquito repellent

• Binoculars for wildlife viewing
  

Is there anything we shouldn’t bring?

Please, no pets, jet skis or loud fireworks. Also, you don’t have to worry about lugging bottled water. Evergreen’s 94 foot artesian well provides cold, pristine drinking water.
